The Burrell Group (TBG) to assist TX DOT with providing a comprehensive process
to ensure the solicitation and utilization of DBE firms on upcoming major construction project.
TX DOT is interested in ensuring that DBEs are actively solicited and given an equal opportunity to compete and participate as primes, subconsultants, strategic partners and/or as suppliers of goods and services on the upcoming S. M. Wright Construction project.
The goal of this project is to significantly increase the number of ready willing and able disadvantaged, minority businesses in the bidding process for the upcoming Reconstruction project. TBG will coordinate their activities with Houston based A.O. Phillips & Associates, TX DOT’s statewide consultants on DBE development.
